La característica principal de la danza zíngara rusa es su composición subdividida en 3 partes.
La primera parte de la danza es lenta o moderada, es donde la bailarina aparece en escena y baila de una manera suave con movimientos de brazos, juegos con la falda y camina usando el espacio.
En la segunda parte cuando la música se va acelerando, la danza se desarrolla y la bailarina realiza saltitos, bate los pies en movimiento delante y de lado.
La parte final tiene un ritmo irresistible, la música y la danza se aceleran, con movimientos rápidos, vibración de la espalda, rotaciones e infinitos dibujos de la falda.
Sin la famosa danza gypsy “Ziganochka” en Rusia, no existe ninguna fiesta o matrimonio. El ritmo abrumador hace saltar de la silla a las personas sin distinción de edad, educación o profesión
